Today I went to Target, and in the electronics section I found this:
Now to begin with my initial thoughts where “Why would someone need to buy another copy of wii sports”, now I realize that the new Wii’s are shipped with Mario Kart. I feel like I got ripped off when I bought my Wii, and anyone who buys this is getting ripped off. Wii sports is not worth $19.99 Im sure you can find it in the shelfs of GameStop for around $5.
Anyways the real story is about how one of the managers went up to the electronics guy and was like “HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS MOTOROLA ZOOM WITH AND X” and the guy was like “Its just an android tablet”. Then the manager ran over to it and started looking all over for the plug, and the electronics guy was like “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH IT?!?” the manger explained “Some guests have found a way to hack the device and go to inappropriate sites on it, so to protect the guest we must turn the display off”. The electronics guy unplugged it, but the device stayed on. The manager freaked out that it did not power down and asked “Are you messing with me? That wasn’t the right plug.” the electronics guy told him that you had to take the battery out of it to completely shut down. The manager guy said “This is too much work, uh im just going to take it to the back office”.
I like how people now get paid to not do anything, and get free stuff because they have a high up position.
